Linford King

Interim Senior Pastor

Linford joined the Forest Hills team in September 2012. He came with a wealth of church leadership experience – he has served as a denominational minister for Mennonite Church USA, overseer of Lancaster City District for Lancaster Mennonite Conference, pastor at Holly Grove Mennonite Church, Maryland for five years, and pastor at Neffsville Mennonite Church, Lancaster, for 15 years. He has also had previous experience serving as an interim pastor. In earlier years he taught at Octorara Intermediate School and at a school for missionary kids in Peru, South America. Linford is a registered sports official for PIAA and NCAA baseball and soccer. In his spare time he likes to ride his Harley, play golf and do most anything sports related. He and his wife Mary Etta live in Lancaster and have two adult sons and four grandchildren.

Cheryl Hollinger

Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Nurture

Cheryl received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Mennonite University (Va.) and taught school in Virginia. Along with her family, she spent 11 years as a church development worker in Wales, UK before coming to Forest Hills in 2006. Cheryl gives leadership to and helps implement the various education and nurture programs of the church. This involves the children, teens, adults and seniors. She has recently earned 25 seminary credits. In her free time she enjoys long walks, creative writing and good books. She is married and the mother of three young adult sons.

Becky Degan

Worship and Music Director

Becky is a graduate of Elizabethtown College (Pa.) with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy. Before coming to Forest Hills in 2006, she worked for eight years as a music therapist for children with special needs. Becky is married with one son. She and her husband perform original music for children at local venues and have released two CD's of original children's music. They have also worked on several projects with Herald Press, including the children’s CD Sing, Little Children, Sing and the book The Family Song.

Jared Stoltzfus

Youth Director

Jared is a graduate of Eastern University and Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Following graduation he came to Forest Hills in August 2011 as our part-time Youth Director. He and his wife Elizabeth are the zookeepers for six household pets. In his free time, Jared likes to read, go hiking, or watch The Simpsons.

Norma Stauffer

Administrator

Norma has been a member of the Forest Hills congregation for over 25 years. She joined the team as Administrator in 2000, after working 25 years in commercial finance. Norma's organizational skills and years of experience as a volunteer in a variety of congregational ministries effectively prepared her to step into this role. On a regular basis she also offers her gifts to the music ministry at Forest Hills. In her free time she enjoys biking, reading, and good conversation with friends. She is married and the mother of two young adult children.
